Axel Bluhme — Designer

Product and interaction designer, currently shaping smart-home experiences at IKEA.

Before joining IKEA, I co-founded the furniture brand Primary Structures, did consultancy work through Fjord (Accenture Song), ran my own design and technology studio, Current State, led interaction design for Adidas Headphones and worked as a designer at Google Creative Lab.

My work has received recognition including the Bill Moggridge Award and a D&AD Pencil, and has been exhibited at Tate Modern, the V&A, Centre Pompidou, Nationalmuseum Stockholm, Sónar+D and KIKK Festival.
